As your child begins to find their way academically, we will also work on helping them become more socially and emotionally aware of their surroundings. The more they understand how they fit in, the more successful they will be.

This instruction is designed for students with language-based difficulties, emphasis on reading, writing, spelling, handwriting, and language comprehension, using the Orton-Gillingham Approach

We use the Interactive Metronome for enhancement of cognitive and athletic performance, including general brain fitness, academic improvement, auditory processing improvement and sports performance
Excellence in Writing
Designed for every student, we help your student hone the skills needed to communicate confidently and effectively. They will learn nine structural models (note taking, writing paragraphs, stories, simple reports, writing from pictures, research reports, creative writing, essays, and critiques) to help them organize any type of composition. Additionally, stylistic techniques (strong verbs, quality adjectives, sentence openers, and more) are taught incrementally to gently move students from the basics into more sophisticated writing.
Standardized Test Prep
This instruction prepares your student to take assessments in reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies. The student will be shown tips on how to approach various types of problems and provide step-by-step examples, helping the anxious test-taker gain confidence.
